Daydreaming

I love weekends! It allows me to relax, unwind, spend some time with my 2-year old son, and during those rare nothing-to-do moments, I daydream. I guess everyone has tried to daydream at one point in their life. And I think it's ok to do so, except of course, it should be done at the right place and at the right time.

For my 1st layout this week, I chose my brother Philip's daydreaming moments which was caught candidly on camera. I'm not really sure what he was thinking about when the photo was taken - perhaps it could be about school, about his crush (I won't mention the girl's name here lest I be killed by my brother for doing so.. hehehe..), or simply what's for dinner (hehehe...). The photo was taken at Nayong Pilipino at Clark Expo Zone in Pampanga. The place is really neat. It showcases various Filipino emblems, such as the nipa hut in the picture. One would really feel the "Mabuhay" spirit when one visits the said place. It can also send one into memory lane, daydreaming of how life was during the time of our Lolo's and Lola's.

I like this one sis! The Crop Dreams kit is really perfect for scrapping your Nayong Pilipino pix. Tapos bakit siya nag muni-muni sa bintana? hehehe...

those capiz-inlaid bintanas bring back fond memories of my Lola's house. I loved how they would slide them open every morning and we could see all around the neighborhood from the 2nd floor.

Hindi pa ako ng punta sa Nayong Pilipino at Clark Expo...pero, next time we visit sa Pilipinas, I wil definitely go with my hubby. I'm really enjoying your pictures and layouts from your visit there.
